So, what is A.L.I.C.E.? The A.L.I.C.E. Active Shooter Training program is designed to prepare you and your staff should an Active Shooter strike your place of business.
A.L.I.C.E. stands for Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evade or Evacuate. It is basically an acronym that is easy to remember “when the bad thing” happens. The concepts of the A.L.I.C.E. program can be applied in schools, universities, public organizations, private businesses, home, work and anywhere else one may be able to come up with. The concepts of A.L.I.C.E. teach students what to do “when the bad thing happens.”
